General Information

  • Whimsy Layer Cakes is a cake business based in Melbourne.
  • By placing an order, it is assumed that customers read and agree to these terms and conditions for Whimsy Layer Cakes.

 

Orders & Payment

  • Orders must be placed at least 7 days in advance.
  • Mini Cake Selection Boxes are priced and are non-negotiable.
  • All payment's need to be made via the online options.

 

Orders & Collection

  • Orders are for pick up only. (We are currently unable to deliver). (Unless Local).
  • Orders must be collected at the order selection time.
  • Once an order is placed, any further adjustments may only be made at the discretion of Whimsy Layer Cakes.
  • Whimsy Layer Cakes is not liable for damage after pickup or delivery.
  • It is recommended that cakes are kept no longer than 5 days as they are perishable items.
  • The cakes can be stored in the fridge or freezer.
  • Colours and decorations may slightly vary, however Whimsy Layer Cakes endeavours to keep consistency.

 

Allergens

  • Allergies must be declared when you place your order. Whimsy Layer Cakes hold no responsibility for food allergies or reactions that are not declared at the time of the order.
  • Products may contain allergens including nuts, dairy, gluten, etc.
  • While we take care, cross-contamination may occur.

 

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations made at least 3 days prior to delivery are eligible for a refund or credit.
  • Cancellations after this period are non-refundable.
  • Custom orders are non-refundable once production begins.

 

Design & Artistic License

  • All cakes are handmade and may vary slightly from reference images.
  • Whimsy Layer Cakes reserves the right to adjust designs for structural or aesthetic reasons.

 

Privacy Policy

Customer data is handled securely and in accordance with Privacy laws.

 

Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and images are the property of Whimsy Layer Cakes and may not be used without permission

 

Photography & Promotion

  • We reserve the right to photograph and share creations on social media and marketing platforms.
